Meg is a Clinical Midwife & Registered Nurse from Perth, WA who has worked across various maternity care settings that ultimately led her to becoming an IBCLC after finding her passion in the lactation & breastfeeding space. Part of the motivation behind becoming an IBCLC was her own breastfeeding challenges, & the lack of evidence-based knowledge & advice those she turned to were able to give. Meg is part of a small team of Clinical Midwife IBCLCs who work within a publicly funded breastfeeding clinic that services the state of WA, while also working in private practice providing IBCLCs services in the Northen Coastal suburbs of Perth with a mentor & friend. Across these roles, her passion remains the same - ensuring every woman/person feels supported, informed, & empowered in their lactation & breastfeeding journey.
When having some rare down time, Meg is happiest with a book in her hands & her bulldog snoring on her lap. Her daughters are now 16 & 20 years old so she is kept on her toes in ways she didn’t expect but finds so entertaining.
