Regional Groups

Regional Groups – LCANZ has ‘self-organised’ geographic meetings, with support provided by LCANZ, for members, and other health professionals, in some areas. Local co-ordinators are members of LCANZ. All health professionals with an interest in lactation and breastfeeding support are welcome to attend. Fees apply to most events – in the first instance, please contact the LCANZ Office – info@lcanz.org. As this is only the first year or so of LCANZ’ operating – new regional groups are being developed all the time. If you are an IBCLC, and interested in forming a group, please contact the LCANZ Office via email at info@lcanz.org.

Please download the budget template to work out your event costs and income. All small regional events need to cover all associated costs with surplus so they can be self funding and larger seminars need to budget to make a profit to enable LCANZ to contribute to an education fund for its members. During your planning phase, please submit a budget copy to the Secretariat for approval. If we can help you in any way please let us know.
