Membership Requirements

Ordinary members:

not less than 18 years of age at the date of application and an IBCLC

Associate members:

not less than 18 years of age at the date of application; and
a health professional who has a demonstrated interest in lactation;
a person who has a demonstrated interest in human lactation by publication or research and has been invited by the directors to apply for associate membership of the Company; or
otherwise qualified to be an associate member within the category or categories that the directors may establish from time to time;
Student or Retired membership (bundled) is available. Please see forms for further information.

Ordinary members are able to nominate and vote and become Board members, associate members are not able to nominate as a Director or vote at formal proceedings of LCANZ. Please see the LCANZ Constitution if you require more specific information.
